9) 08/09-02-2025:  Cheryl Dodd ~ Wirral Theatre School of Dance

IDTA Fellow and Examiner
Having trained at Hylton Bromley Theatre School from the age of 3, and achieving numerous accolades as a student, Cheryl went on to have a professional dance career across much of Asia and Europe.
Returning to teach, Cheryl has been principal of her own Theatre School for over 20 years where many students have gone on to enjoy great success. As a Fellow and Examiner for the IDTA and being a member of the Musical Theatre Faculty and the Theatre Dance Awards comittee, Cheryl enjoys travelling to adjudicate and lecture to see the wonderful joy of dance and talent that is being produced.

8) 11/28-02-2024: Donna Wilcox ~ Elite Academy of Dance

Miss Donna Wilcox BA Hons Dance, Fellow and Examiner IDTA , ARAD and RAD Teaching Diploma , Co chair of the Theatre Dance Awards . Associate Teacher of the Royal Opera House and Royal Ballet Chance to Dance programme. Donna danced professionally for over 10 years in UK tours as well at TV and Arena events. Donna has also choregraphed many pantomimes to Contemporary dance platform events to TV adverts. Donna is also an international teacher and adjudicator.

7) 25/29-01-2023: Wendy Cowan ~ Wendy Charles School of Dance

Wendy has been passionately involved in dance from childhood. Training and performing and then moving on to to a professional career at the age of sixteen. She opened her school in 1983 and qualified as an examiner thirteen years later. Now a full examiner and a member of the tap faculty, Wendy is a keen advocate in the inclusive opportunities for all in dance.

6) 23/26/27-03-2022: Vanessa Hooper ~ Skelton Hooper School of Dance and Theatre

Vanessa trained at the Royal Ballet School and danced as a Principal with the Royal Ballet and Northern Ballet Companies and was a dancer, singer and actress in several musicals in London whilst teaching at Pineapple Dance Centre. She has choreographed and directed for the stage and television in London and Europe including Starlight Express with Arlene Phillips. After completing her IDTA Fellowship examinations she returned to teaching alongside her mother Vera Skelton and became an examiner for the IDTA. She has been on the Ballet Faculty for over twenty years and is currently chairman.

Through passion and knowledge Vanessa has trained dancers in the Royal Ballet, English National Ballet, The Mariinsky Ballet & Matthew Bourne’s Company. Her pupils are performing in West End and touring musical productions and cruise ships and companies around the world. She has coached dancers for the Prix de Lausanne and has had winners at Adeline Genée, Molly Lake and Young Dancer of the Year. In 2016 Vanessa was awarded the Carl Alan Teachers’ Award.

5) 20-06/14-07-2021: Denise Skinner ~ Wirral Theatre School of Dance
Denise trained at the Hylton- Bromley Theatre School and went on to dance and act professionally in Shows, TV and cabaret throughout this country and overseas. She then opened her own school which she runs successfully with Cheryl Dodd. Denise is a senior examiner, sits on the Theatre Craft and Musical Theatre faculties, British federation adjudicator and a qualified drama teacher. The latter role helping when she co- wrote the IDTA's Musical Theatre Syllabus. Denise enjoys promoting the syllabus to both Ballroom and Theatre area meetings throughout the country and has lectured extensively overseas including China, New Zealand, Cyprus and Italy. Denise has always been involved in many aspects of the association having served on the Theatre Council and currently on her third term on the QAP. She is a former NW area chairman and has been involved in the International Theatre Dance Awards for many years latterly as Compere. Denise is passionate about her commitment to the IDTA and the welfare of it's members.

4) 12/13-12-2020: Christa Collard ~ Walsall Academy of Dance
Miss Christa Collard became the Principal of Walsall Academy of Dance in 2010 after working as the Vice Principal and a senior member of staff for over 10 years at the Academy. Miss Christa, as she is known to her students, is a qualified Secondary Teacher specialising in Dance Education. She holds a Teaching Certificate with the Royal Academy of Dance, A Certificate in Dance Education in Modern and Tap Dance, and a Licentiate in Modern Jazz with the Imperial Society for Teachers of Dance. She also holds Fellowships in Ballet, Freestyle, Tap, Modern Jazz and Theatre Craft with the International Dance Teachers Association as well as a Dance Exercise and Gymnastic Dance Teaching Diploma. She qualified from the University of Wolverhampton with a First Class Honours Degree in Dance studies and has since gone on to study a Post Graduate Diploma in Dance Science and a Masters Degree in Dance. As a dancer Miss Christa has performed professionally with several contemporary dance companies and has been asked as a choreographer to work at various universities across the Midlands and has taught a variety of professional dance companies technique classes. She is passionate about dance and delivering it to all young dancers who are hard working and enthusiastic, she is often heard discussing with students how their bodies work and always drawing pictures to demonstrate parts of their anatomy or singing songs to help them remember what to do.  She hopes to provide inspiration to all so they can achieve their potential in what ever they choose as a career whether that be in the dance world or not. She is extremely proud of all her students and has kept every news cutting from when her students get into the paper. Miss Christa was appointed an Examiner with the IDTA during 2013 and has since gone on to examine abroad and adjudicate across the country.

3) 16/17-03-2019: Wendy Hazelby ~  Hazelbiz Performers Academy 
Principal of Hazelbiz Performers Academy, Fellow IDTA and Adjudicator. Hazelbiz Performers Academy's doors have been open to eager students since 2001 and in that time we have succeeded in training children and adults to dance to their full potential in a disciplined but fun environment. Some of our students train intensively with us and regularly compete in local festivals and and national championships, whilst some students visit us as a hobby, once a week for fun classes. Classes in Modern/Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Street and Gymnastics.

2) 18-03-2018: Lesley Munn ~ Munn Academy of Dance
Principal Miss Lesley Munn FIDTA has been teaching in her own school for over 40 years. She is a Fellow Member if the International Dance Teachers Association and also a Senior Examiner of the IDTA. She teaches classes at MAD and coaches teachers in all subjects.

1) 18-06-2017: Linda Regan ~ Regan Performing Arts Academy
Experienced Dance Teacher with a demonstrated history of working in the performing arts industry. Skilled in Contemporary Dance, Improvisation, Theatre, Performing Arts, and Acting. Strong professional graduated from Durham University with a BA hons in Dance Education with the RAD. Cert ed. with Christchurch University and GTP.
